Satu Mare County Intercommunity Development Association Successfully Completed the First Training

Our Romanian partner, Satu Mare County Intercommunity Development Association, has successfully completed the first multiplier event and the training of the Commigration Project on 29 March 2023.

Last year, in June, the Sapienza University of Rome provided a theoretical and practical trainer training on communication and approach techniques for immigrants as part of the Commigration project. Three multiplier events were planned to disseminate this training. The first of these trainings was scheduled to take place on February 7-8, 2023, in Antalya, but was postponed due to the earthquake that affected 11 provinces in Turkey. Therefore, the first dissemination training within the scope of the Commigration project was organized by Satu Mare County Intercommunity Development Association on March 29, 2023.

The institutions hosted by our partner who provided training to ten participants were as follows: the Immigration Office of Satu Mare County, the General Inspectorate of the Border Police, the Satu Mare General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection, the Prefect's Institution of Satu Mare County, the Red Cross - Satu Mare branch, Union of Ukrainians from Romania - Satu Mare branch.

In addition to this training provided under IO3 developed by the Sapienza University of Rome, other outputs produced and maintained within the project were also introduced to the participants, and the project's social media accounts were promoted.

Similar trainings will continue on April 4 in Helsinki and May 3-4 in Antalya.
